Hello - An Introduction
This is a brand new blog and I figured the best way to start a blog is to introduce myself. I identify as a mother of two grown children, a Dakota woman originally from a First Nation reserve, a spiritualist and a writer.
But first and foremost, I am a 60s/70s Scoop Survivor, one of a few thousand indigenous children taken from family and tribe. I was only five y.o. when I was first shuffled from a foster home to an orphanage, to two adoption homes, and then to a foster home when I was a teen.
My journey is a long and twisted one and
I'm forever trying to find my way back home.
